Here are ‘Weird Guy With The Dog’ questions –

If you could change one thing in another persons life, whether you know them or not, what would it be?

Interesting question, I would not change anything in anyone’s life. We are individuals, unique in our own way. And as much as I am a control freak and would like to change everyone to be like me as then it would be a perfect world – I would not.

If you could travel back in time, but never return, would you and when?

Another interesting question, as tempting as it would be to time travel; again I would not go back in time. I have lived my life until now and know what the history of it is. I know by reading and learning the history of the world – everything I need to know can be found in my mind or books, or the internet. I look forward to living my life and traveling along into the future – to discover what is to unfold.

Let’s say you could bring back a childhood pet, tell us a little about him or her.

Growing up in our household, we had many pets over the years. Several dogs, a cat, a duck, and yes a monkey; they were loved and belong to the family. If I could bring back a pet, it would be ‘Max’, my Chihuahua that died 1 ½ years ago. I miss him dearly and he and I were the best of friends. I still feel his presence, and at times sitting in the backyard I imagine him walking around and lifting his leg to pee – on everything!

If you could relive one experience from your past over again, no changes, what would it be?

My goodness, this is a difficult question to answer. There are so many experiences in my life; I really am unable to answer this one.

What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow? Oops..Strike that, Monty Python flashback! What is your favorite black and white movie, and why?

Well, the first movie to pop in my head is ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’! And to answer the first part of the question –
Although a definitive answer would of course require further measurements, published species-wide averages of wing length and body mass, initial Strouhal estimates based on those averages and cross-species comparisons, the Lund wind tunnel study of birds flying at a range of speeds, and revised Strouhal numbers based on that study all lead me to estimate that the average cruising airspeed velocity of an unladen European Swallow is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles an hour.

Thanks again to ‘Weird Guy With The Dog’ for nominating me for this award!

I nominate the following wonderful bloggers for this award –

SBI: A Thinning Crowd

Everything I Never Told You

My Questions to these nominees are –
1. When taking a shower or bath, what do you think about?
2. The color of the sky is usually blue, if you could change the color, what color would that be and why?
3. What is your best feature?
4. If there was only 1 food left to eat for the rest of your life, what food would that be?
5. If you were a tree, what kind would you be? (Okay, if Barbara Walters can ask this, so can I)
