Blue & Red, Sugar, Sugar

Today is the 9th month of my blog!  My anniversary post is something different than the usual posts I write.

Let’s see – today’s date is 2/13/16 and it is my 9th month blog anniversary.

I Googled 213169 and I received this result back: #213169 Color Hex.  Basically Hex Colors are hexadecimal numbers or “hex” numbers that are a base-16 numbering system used to define colors on Web pages. A hex number is written from 0-9 and then A-F.

#213169 is this color

It is basically blue, right?

That’s a boring subject; let’s see, what about this –

Adding 2+13+16+9 equals 40

The 40th state in the US is South Dakota

South Dakota is considered a red state

Important fact I guess, but not that interesting

Oh wait, I know something interesting, did you know this –

A well-known celebrity born in South Dakota is Cheryl Ladd

And what about this interesting bit of information –

Cheryl Ladd was the singing voice of Melody on Hanna-Barbera’s Josie and the Pussycats animated series

And interesting facts about this animated series –

Josie and the Pussycats is an American animated television series, based upon the Archie Comics

And what do we know about Archie –

Archie is the lead singer of ‘The Archies’

‘The Archies’ most successful song, “Sugar, Sugar”, became one of the biggest hits of the bubblegum pop genre that flourished from 1968 to 1972

  1. I wanted to BE Josie (or at least one of the Pussy Cats – any one) and I love Sugar Sugar – memories of trying to dance like they did on Top of The Pops because I truly believed if I could be in the audience then my life would be complete. Love the train of thought 🙂
