to expose me: my location

I wrote in my post ‘to expose me‘, the following –

Now over 8 months later I have realized fellow bloggers are supportive of me and have welcomed me with open arms and appreciate my writings.  Because of this I decided to expose myself, my identity, to you my fellow bloggers.  But a course I am not doing it all in one post, I still have 3 months to write a post a day.

So I will write a series of posts to expose me – my identity to you and the blogger world.

In today’s post I write the following –

Do you think you know where I live?  Are you ready to figure it out?  Little effort and Google will help you.  Look at the clues.  Are you really sure you know where I live?  Suppose I just told you.

Maybe some previous posts can help.

Let us see –

In my post ‘Big City Lights‘, I wrote the following –

This big city I have lived in for the past 27 years is huge now – with a city population of over 2 million and with the surrounding area the population is over 7 million.  The big city lights are everywhere now, the downtown skyscrapers are taller and the traffic is endless.

In my post ‘Hot Weather w/no Clothes‘, I wrote the following –

My current location temperature from November – March averages 45 to 68 degrees.  The next location temperature from November – March averages 52 – 72 degrees.  Yes, I realize there is not much difference in these averages, but the current location receives more ‘cold fronts’ than the next location.

Were you able to figure it out with the clues I gave you?

These clues could help you?  Extras needed?  Are you in need of more clues? Suppose I just told you.

Besides the clues listed in the above mentioned posts, somewhere in this post are words where the first letters create the city and state I live in.

Okay, how about a riddle –

Do you think – Are you sure – Look above – Look below – And do you know it – Stumped

The clues are there – Exam them closer – And you will find – Simple

Do you think you know where I live?

  1. Well, you need to be a Luddite to not know 😀 and I am from India, never stepped out of the blessed country… so there… after so many clues if people don’t get it, then there is something wrong with the country and you would need to bring back a Tea Party candidate to teach you all what America is all about 😛
Ok, never mind Trump… he does not know where his Ar*e is.. so never mind cities… 😛 (Notice how I surreptitiously bring politics into everything I type.. well, could not miss the opportunity hehe)…

  2. Ok, just in case you think I am bluffing 😀 In which case “we have a problem ******…”… but that photo mystifies me.. is it worth anything? I don’t really know.. is it worth a nail or even a fort?? Maybe not, if it is on the other side of the city… Let us not have a problem… 🙂 I am not going to fight you over this, because like I said, I have never been to your part of the world, ever… Oh, GALVanizing picture? I think not.. not with the population you mentioned in the 60s… Sigh… maybe I am just pompous… let me wear by ten gallon thinking hat and see if I can surmount this problem.. I am probably a lone ranger on this one, but I will try… certainly try very hard…

    • You are a smart person, you are. I see what you are doing, there is a kids game when hiding things and when one kid gets closer to what is hidden, the other kid says “You are getting warmer.” Tejaswi, you are getting warmer. 🙂

      • Not really, I did not want to spoil the game for others. But I left clues there.. “we’ve got a problem, Houston”… I was just keen on knowing which smaller city you shifted from near Houston. Either Fort Worth or Galveston.. also clues there.. But, thanks for indulging me..

  3. So you gonna tell us or what? I’ve only ever been past the Mississippi river twice in my life, so how would I know? It could be anywhere from Manhattan to Chicago….even (except for the water) downtown Salt Lake City….

  4. So you are just 3 hours drive from me and you have been hiding your location. I think you may not be #1 boyfriend anymore… I should have guessed from the 3,800 sq ft house. So close and yet so far. 🙂
