it’s a “Jodi”

My friend Jodi over at Life In Between published a post titled ‘Sittin’ on the Dock of the Day Part Deux’ that started with the following –

If you caught yesterday’s post: “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay,” you MIGHT recognize this old red boat.

I couldn’t resist doing it in watercolor.

Jodi may consider herself as a newbie at watercolor paintings, but I consider her a pro.  I admire her watercolors, and I let her know I am a fan.  So guess what?  She is a sweetheart and sent me her watercolor from the previously mentioned post.  If you do not know Jodi, please go visit her blog – she is an amazing wife, mom, home health agency professional and Charlie’s favorite human.

Thanks Jodi for sending me the wonderful watercolor.  You know I would have paid millions for it – oh well, I already have it now!

    • You are very welcome Jodi. I was going to mention in a comment on your site that I received it, but decided to surprise you. I am extremely happy you sent this to me – I love it – and Gary does as well. You are a sweetheart for sending this to me. One day I hope to thank you in person! Thanks again dear, you made my day. 🙂

  2. It really is a lovely and thoughtful gift! While you were opening it, I thought about the meaning of the painting in regards to your current circumstances… Wherever you end up, it will have some symbolism to your original plans. And someday if you live by the water, it will finally be home too. What a wonderful gift! And it was great to see you open it. Thanks for sharing the moment!

    • Thank you for watching. I truly love the painting and someday soon it will have a place to be displayed. I currently have it sitting on my desk at home. Thanks for reading and viewing, always appreciated. 🙂

  3. All art is in the eye of the beholder. I had this conversation with Fiona yesterday. After over five years of writing I still cannot believe that what I write is worthy of the following and congratulations, the positive feedback or the several hours it takes to read my novel, or screenplays…… I get yet she honestly believes in me and not for any other reason than she says there is talent and soul and consciousness in what I write.
We all see something that others don’t and that is booth the beauty and the bad of self analysis.

That’s all I have to say about that
