I had been working out until a year ago and I stopped! I just did little weights to improve my arm strength. I really like this and it gives me some direction on how to do it and have fun!

Thanks Kerry, I actually had larger arms at one time. But now I have bad shoulders and I have to use lighter weights! Glad I wore you out! 🙂

I don’t really like the very big shoulders thing that men have going on. Whipcord and steel are more my style. 😉

I know the exercise outweighs the pain. Many times in the morning when my lower back is hurting I will do yoga and that helps reduce the pain. By the time I get to the gym I am doing much better. Thanks for watching! 🙂

A lot of people have told me about the benefits of doing yoga, so I must give it a try. I’ve been doing Tai chi style exercises that have greatly benefited me, helping me to relax my mind and body and its helps to relieve my discomfort to some extent. But wish I had your strength to go to the gym!

I gave my exercise bike to my mother in law but I have a machine that is just the pedals of a bike so you can sit down on the sofa or at a desk and be pedalling at the same time! I have also been told to use tins or cans of food as weights as I don’t have any weights. I used to love the gym when I was at school but feel a lot more self conscious these days.

I understand, doing anything and using anything at home does help. Sometimes when I am cooking, I will do a few squats of leg lifts just to be moving something. 🙂

I’m the same. I have sitting and standing stretches that I do if I sit or stand for too long. My work colleagues used to give me some looks when I started to do stretches at my desk 🙂 !

Look at you rockin’ it Terry! You so make me smile!!! Right in the middle of the gym you have the camera on! What do you use to videotape? Your iPhone? And is the music playing while you do it for all to hear? I wish I had such bravado at the gym. I roll in in the morning half asleep and barely make it through what I need to do. LOL! You are in great shape to do that! I smile thinking of the man who revealed himself part by part and now doing this. Just LOVE IT! Go Terry!!!!! ❤

Yes I am! Husband excelled himself – we arrived in Scotland Saturday and I would NEVER have guessed where we were going …. To ice the bun he told me last night I was getting on a train in the morning via Liverpool
Where I’m having lunch with my youngest daughter and then on to Oxford to stay with my mum and back to Heathrow to meet him Friday and fly back to Boston (he’s at a conference in Edinburgh by the way so busy working). I sat at breakfast this morning and wondered what on earth I did to deserve such a wonderful man who asks nothing in return but the love I have for him. Hugs to you and Gary from your very spoiled friend 🙂
