14 years ago today, Gary and I met for the first time.

If you are interested in how we met, please take the time and read my post ‘The Hit – The Last Chapter‘.

We usually do not celebrate the anniversary of the day we met or the anniversary of our marriage.

We are happy we are together, though sometimes living in a small RV at times can be trying.

Sometimes, it seems being close together 24 hours a day in close quarters can appear like one is drowning.

Just kidding, I just thought that statement would be a good segue.

I will end this post with a song; to understand why I picked this song, you would need to read the above-mentioned post.

  2. Beautiful. And the music fits perfectly. Congratulations to you both, may you have many more years together. (Now is the time to celebrate every little thing… So I agree with Lynne… Gotta have a cupcake or an ice cream in honor of today!!) 😀

  3. I remember the frisson of reading that post when you wrote it and I get the same frisson of joy that you have reached this landmark, albeit a little frayed round the edges but you are here and you are together, the loves of one another’s lives. I will raise a glass to you in celebration even if you don’t and guess what … I’m going to eat a cupcake with ice-cream in your honour. Just for the two of you, you understand, totally without ulterior motifs like that shop in my street calls to me and now I have an excuse! Seriously, this is a lovely post, touching in the right way, poignant with out cloying and I LOVE the song ❤️
