loved many dogs – a Visual Recite

I have added a new category to my blog titled ‘a Visual Recite’.

I have taken many pictures over the years and I share them with you with a recite.

“Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love, they depart to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces an old dog, it merely expands the heart. If you have loved many dogs your heart is very big.”

  1. Oh gosh, that makes Mrs. Stripe’s and Zhenny’s graves look a bit pathetic. That is a lovely tribute to a much loved Roxie. Did I tell you that one of the critters tried to dig Zhenny up??? I doubt she would have tasted that good…

  2. I then have a HUGE heart (according to Ms. Jong). And I like the thought…”they leave to teach us about loss. ” Maybe they do. The pain still remains though. That’s a lesson that I think is on-going one’s whole life long. Thanks for sharing this Terry! 🙂

  3. I had a dog called Max when I was growing up … he was an Saint Bernard the size of a small truck. He was loved. Come to think of it every dog I have had has been loved. Very loved and given squiilions of times more love back. They wait at the rainbow bridge so I’m told. I care to believe it. Your Max, loved and cherished has the most chic of lying places. I’ll bet he’s frolicking with aplomb right by that bridge waiting. 🐾🐾🌈

      • None give so adoringly, so unerringly and so graciously as our dogs. I believe they pass to a paradise that fits their devotion. I on the other hand am in a frustrating Wi-Fi-less help being passed around like an unwanted stray and still being charged. Hence no posts recently. I’m sure it must be making me a better person but in honesty I’ll settle for worse and connected… bad girl was a look I enjoyed for years 😅😅
