My Mom loves talking about her family and younger years. She repeats a lot of this stuff word for word and often due to her dementia, She always says she could right a book about her life (which of course I know she never will at this point) so why not try to make a movie out of it via a video instead to speed the process along!
Thought you’d like that story with the New England “the slamma” accent! I tried to make the Boston accent come out strong even though I haven’t live there since 1979.
Ha! I don’t have to torture anybody – my son and daughter-in-law speak this way naturally!
This was a phenomenal idea, Gary, to do this video series of your mom. I wish I had thought of that when my parents and grandparents were around!
“Wonderful memories”, indeed, and wonderfully told

Your mom is such a star and as sharp as a tack. Loved the bootlegging and “slamma” story. Even better with the Salem accent!
